About Convergo

Convergo (convergo.app) is a free web app that finds the fairest place to meet for 2–8 people flying from different cities. Start far apart. Arrive together.

Why it exists

When a group lives in different cities, the choice of destination almost always rewards whoever has the easiest trip: someone pays double, someone travels ten hours. Convergo exists to take that negotiation off the table: it does the math for everyone, compares each person’s price, travel hours, stops and waiting, and shows where the trip weighs about the same on each of you.

Who is behind it

Convergo is an independent project, built in Italy by Francesco Mollica, and it grows with the suggestions of the people who use it. It doesn’t sell tickets and it isn’t a travel agency: booking always happens on third-party sites, where you pay directly.

The principles

  • Fairness before price

The recommended destination isn’t the one with the lowest absolute price, but the one where cost, travel hours, stops and waiting are shared evenly among the travelers. If you prefer another criterion, there are the Cheapest, Fairest and Most time together modes.

  • Transparency about commissions

Convergo sustains itself through affiliate links to Aviasales, Tiqets, Klook, GetYourGuide and Stay22 (stays): if you book there, it earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. The ranking of destinations never depends on commissions.

  • Privacy without cookies

No accounts and no profiling, advertising or analytics cookies: travelers’ names are never stored and searches are kept in nameless logs. All the details are in the privacy policy.

The other “Convergo”s

Other companies share the name: a science communication agency (convergo.com), a sales consultancy (convergo.co) and an insurance broker. Convergo (convergo.app) has no ties to any of them: it is only the web app for finding where to meet.
